Manuel Neuer has been chastised by Oliver Kahn for his public comments

about the 'crazy' sacking of long-term coach Toni Tapalovic in January.

The Bayern Munich CEO was enraged with his captain, claiming that his decision to publicly criticise

the German record holders did not reflect well on him or the 'values of FC Bayern'.

Tapalovic had been Bayern Munich's goalkeeper coach since 2011

and had previously worked with Neuer at Schalke.

Tapalovic, on the other hand, was fired last month after Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann

discovered that he had leaked internal conversations to players.

Neuer's decision was also criticised, given that Bayern is at a crossroads in their season,

with only a point separating them from second-placed Union Berlin following an uncharacteristically poor run of form.
